At the Entrance....
This year things are a bit different to make it faster to get into the festival, so even if you've been to our festival before read on to find out how things will work at the entrance.
What happens when you arrive at the Festival depends on whether you have an advance ticket or are paying cash on the door....
1. You've bought a ticket online
Make sure you print your ticket at home and bring it with you (you need one copy of the ticket for your whole group for each session covered). When you arrive join the Pre-Paid Ticket Queue. Your ticket will be checked and you will be given any drink tokens you have purchased in advance. Then you just need to choose a pint or half-pint glass, pick up a programme and it's off to the bar to enjoy some of the 200+ beers and 100+ ciders and perries on offer.
2. You've bought a ticket+tokens admission package from Huntingdon Hall
Join the pre-paid queue when you arrive. Hand in your tickets (one for each person in your group) and you will be given the drink tokens you have purchased as part of the admission package. Then you just need to choose a pint or half-pint glass, pick up a programme and it's off to the bar to enjoy some of the 200+ beers and 100+ ciders and perries on offer.
3. You've bought an entry-only ticket from one of our Ticket Agents or have a complimentary ticket
Turn up at the festival site with your tickets (you will have been issued 1 ticket per person) and join the Pre-Paid Ticket Queue. Hand in your ticket, choose a glass - pint or half-pint - and pick up a programme. You must then head for the Token Top Up desk inside the marquee to buy some drink tokens - you can buy whatever value you need. Don't forget to do this because the bar does not accept cash and you can't buy drinks until you have converted some cash into festival drinks tokens.
4. You are paying cash on the door
Turn up at the festival site and join the Cash Queue. You will need to pay for your entrance and buy a strip of Drink Tokens that can be spent at the bar. For most sessions, entrance is £5 and a strip of tokens is to the value of £5, so that's £10 each. However on Friday evening entrance is £7 and there are £8 worth of tokens in a strip, so that's £15 each.
Having paid you just need to choose a glass - pint or half-pint - pick up a programme and head to the bar.
Drivers and other non-drinkers don't need to buy beer tokens but do need an entrance ticket, which still includes a glass and a programme.
If the festival is very busy, especially on Friday evening, we cannot guarantee everyone paying cash will be admitted so please be early.
CAMRA members must buy tickets in the same way, but must then show their Membership Card on entry in order to receive their discount drinks tokens.
